Nina Arias
Nina Arias
Year: So.
High School: North Salinas

Freshman Year: Nina got back on track her freshman year learning how to put out consistent performances. She capped her first fall with the Lady Panthers with a thirteenth place finish at the Coast Conference Championship to earn all-conference honors.

Prior to Hartnell: Competed at North Salinas High School for four year. Enjoyed a solid 21:44 at Toro Park as a junior. Gained Woodward Park experience as a junior competing at the Rough Rider Invitational. On the track, Nina has shown versatility over 400m and 300LH. With personal best of 64.40 and 53.88, she is well prepped for 400LH at the college level.

"Nina used the spring to expand her range all the way from the 400LH to the 10,000 meters in preparation for this fall. She was learning to how get over obstacles while running hard and sustain a strong pace. One of our best steeplechasers, she has shown the ability to run tough in competition and get our desired outcomes. Nina dedicated herself this summer and starts this fall in outstanding shape. She will definitely be a repeat all-conference runner but is doing the work to graduate to all-region."
