Panthers Represent at Cuesta

This weekend the Hartnell Swim and Dive Team competed at the Cuesta Super Invite. This meet features 22 teams and over 500 swimmers making it one of the most competitive environments outside of the State Championships.
The men's team finished as the second highest team in the Coast Conference edging out West Valley.
The Hartnell men were led by strong individual and relay performances, particularly in the IM and freestyle events.
Justin Blankenship posted one of the Panthers' best finishes of the meet with a 5th-place finish in the 400 IM (4:34.90). He also added a 17th-place finish in the 200 IM (2:08.25) and a strong 56.34 in the 100 Butterfly.
Isaac DeLong delivered several strong swims, including 7th place in the 400 IM (4:45.76) and 16th in the 1650 Freestyle (19:29.85). DeLong also recorded sprint performances of 22.85 in the 50 Freestyle and 50.04 in the 100 Freestyle.
Allen Jarvio was another key contributor, posting times of 50.49 in the 100 Freestyle, 56.60 in the 100 Butterfly, and 1:00.17 in the 100 Backstroke. He also placed 15th in the 100 IM (59.88).

In diving, Garhett Atkins finished 13th in the 3-meter event (112.55) and 10th in the 1-meter event (125.65).
