Bio

Prior to Hartnell: Eli ran all four years at Soquel High School. As a sophomore, Eli placed fifth at the CCS Championship to advance to his first CIF State Championship. He was ninth as a junior at CCS and enjoyed a successful abbreviated pandemic senior season where he eighth in the Santa Cruz County Athletic League Championship.

"Eli is our first cross country runner from Soquel and I've been more than impressed with how quickly he has assimilated into our program. Looking back through old results he was in many of the races with the King City guys so we expect them to come together and run even better on the same team. Eli did an amazing job training through the pandemic and it is going to give him a big boost going into his first collegiate season."
