Five Panther Men Named to All-Academic State Team

Five Hartnell College cross country student-athletes have been named to the 2021 All-Academic State Cross Country Team. Isaac Gensel, Frankie Maciel, Joseph Loredo, Joshua Riley, and Brandon Escalante all maintained a 3.50+ GPA during the semester of competition and the following semester. 

Isaac Gensel is currently serving on his church mission in Kenya for two years. Frankie Maciel just completed his first cross country season for Southern Oregon University. Joph Loredo is currently running for the UCLA Club Running Team. Joshua Riley was a member of the 2022 Coast Conference and Northern California Championship team this seaon. Brandon Escalante is concurrently enrolled at CSU Monterey Bay and enjoyed his best cross country season of his career. All recipients were recognized in the CCCAA State Championship meet program and received a certficate.
