Aliyah Urzua is a freshman student athlete at Hartnell College. She went to North Salinas High School. Aliyah was the top local recruit coming from powerhouse, North Salinas High. Ironically she wore #3 for the Panthers as Aliyah was our best 3 point shooter. Aliyah ranked in the top 10 of the Coast Conference South in 7 different statistical categories which showed her outstanding versatility. She ranked tied for first in 3 point shots made and also led the conference in steals. She was the Panthers 2nd leading scorer with a high game of 32 points, compared to the Hartnell Alumni. Aliyah was voted co-captain and is a quiet leader who led by example on and off the court. She was on the honor roll at Hartnell and should be on the Panthers all time top ten lists in some statistical categories after her sophomore season. Her major is undeclared and she should be recruited to play at the 4 year level this coming season as she will be one of the best players in the conference.
