Hartnell Women’s Basketball Crowned Coast Conference South Co-Champions

Hartnell College's Women's Basketball team has been crowned Coast Conference South Co-Champions, capping a standout season defined by resilience, teamwork, and competitive excellence.

The Panthers shared the conference title with San Jose City College after a strong season performance that showcased their depth, defensive intensity, and commitment to team play. With the championship secured, Hartnell now advanced to the first round of the Northern California Regional Playdowns, where the team will continue postseason competition.

"This group of young women has shown incredible heart all season long," said Head Coach Steven Terry. "They've supported one another through challenges, pushed each other to improve every day, and represented Hartnell with pride."

Terry emphasized that while winning the conference championship is significant, the team's growth throughout the season has been just as meaningful.

"Winning the conference championship is meaningful, but what makes me most proud is their growth as teammates, leaders, and students," Terry said. "They've earned this moment, and we're excited to continue the journey in the NorCal Regionals."

The Panthers were guided throughout the season by their team motto — "I got you, you got me, we got us," inspired by Coach Al — a phrase that reflected the unity and trust that defined the team's championship run.
