On September 27, 2016 the Hartnell Women’s Soccer team played against De Anza College. The Lady Panthers finished the game with a score of 7-0 over De Anza. Lady Panther Monique Paniagua scored 2 goals and 3 assists, Priscilla Ruiz scored 3 goals, Norma Verduzco and Megan Hertzog scored one goal each. Vanessa Moreno, Maritza Trujillo, and Aimee Rodriguez each had one assist. Brittany Perez recorded the shutout in goal. On September 30th, the Lady Panthers played against Las Positas at the home of the Panthers. They ended up with a tie of 1-1; student-athlete Priscilla Ruiz scored the goal with an assist by Diana Lopez. Lady Panther Monique Paniagua recorded six saves on goal during that game as well.
