Multiple Records Fall at Hawk Invite

This past Friday and Saturday the Hartnell Swim and Dive team travelled to Las Positas College for the Hawk Invite. This meet featured 22 teams from all over the state and 372 athletes.
The Panthers rose to the competition with 17 personal bests for the men's team (47% of races overall) and 21 personal bests for the women's team (51% of races overall.)
This included two new school records with Myrthe Kramer breaking the record for the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:23.67.
Top performers for the women's side were:
- Myrthe Kramer taking 3rd in the 100 and 200 Backstroke
- Brooklyn Crompton taking 5th in the 1M diving
- Christina Castorena taking 10th in the 400 IM and 12th in the 200 Breaststroke with huge improvements in both events
The Panthers now lock in to training for the Coast Conference Championships that will be held at De Anza College on April 16-18.
