Bio

Prior to Hartnell College: Competed in three years of track & field at North Salinas High School. Senior season cut short after one season due to COVID-19 suspension of competition. As a sophomore, placed eleventh in the CCS 1600 meter finals. Also finished third in the PCAL Championship 3200. Posted a lifetime best 11:08.13 in the 3200 meters at the Top 8 Meet. Sofia finished eleventh again as junior in the CCS 1600 meters. Also advanced to CCS Trials in the 800 meters.
