Panther Volleyball Splits Contests

On September 28, 2016 Women's Volleyball played against Los Medanos College. The Lady Panthers scored a win with a score of 21-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-21. Standouts from this match were Freshmen Kawena Paez with 28 digs and two aces; and Sophomore outside hitter, Mariyah Oliver had 12 kills and 4 blocks. That same day, they played against Shasta College. They ended up with a loss of 25-23, 20-25, 18-25, 25-18, 15-12. The standouts from this match were Sophomore middle blocker Ruby Perez with 14 kills and Sophomore middle blocker Natalia Kaopua with 20 kills. Freshman setter Mahealani Davis lead the team with 46 assists. The team is currently ranked 23rd in the state, 11th in Northern California.
