Volleyball Team Sweeps competition in Coast Crossover

On September 27, 2017 The Hartnell Women’s Volleyball team participated in the Coast Crossover tournament. Led by Coach Jamie Pedroza, the Lady Panthers set the bar high for the season ahead. Facing back to back games against Ohlone and Canada, the Volleyball team came out with amazing synergy. From start to finish, the team found themselves looking in great form and rarely finding themselves down in sets. The Panthers swept all competition on this day with 25-26-25 against Ohlone and 18-24-17 against Canada. Backed by great play from Co-Captain Freshman, Sam Chafer and her teammate Sophomore Marlene Morales, the Volleyball team hopes to carry this momentum into the season as they take on MPC next which marks the start of league play. Overall the Lady Panthers are 8-4. Go Panthers!
