Women's Volleyball team is 3-0!

The team is currently on a 7-0-win streak! On Wednesday the Lady Panthers defeated Foothill College 29-31, 25-13, 25-18, 25-15 in a conference crossover match. Freshmen middle blocker Aixa Crespo, (St. Scholastica Academy), tallied 12 kills with no hitting errors and 4 blocks.  Freshmen setter Jahvanah Marinelli, (Salinas HS.), distributed 16 setting assists and 2 service aces. 

On Friday the team traveled to Los Medanos College. The team faced Solano College and swept them 25-16,25-22,25-16. Sophomore outside hitter Sam Shaffer put down 13 kills and 2 aces. Freshmen Setter/Opposite Megan Flores, (King City HS), had 3 kills, 22 setting assists, no service errors, and 5 digs.

They then faced Los Medanos and defeated them 25-18,25-13, 25-17. Freshmen Jesslyn DeAnda, (York HS), lead with 6 kills and 6 digs. Sophomore Hailee Suber added 4 kills with no hitting errors and 2 blocks. 

Sophomore libero Nhean Marquez was selected as the CCCWVCA Northern Player of the week for her performance the week prior.  The CCCAA state rankings has Hartnell ranked 7th in the state; out of 97 volleyball programs and ranked 3rd in Northern California. The current overall record is 13-2.
