Bio

Prior to Hartnell: Competed for one cross country season for Arizona Christian University (NAIA). Was the top runner at Marina High School where she qualified to CCS three out of her four years. Olivia also qualified to the CCS Trials in track as a junior. She has personal bests at MHS of 2:30 in the 800m and 5:48 in the 1600m.

Spring 2017: Olivia joined the Panthers for the spring track & field season where she was the Coast Conference runner-up at 800m (2:24) and a top four finisher at the Northern California Championships. She qualified to the Northern CA meet at three distances 800m, 1500m, and 5000m. She posted a lifetime best for 5000m at the Occidental Distance Carnival in 19:37.14.

"Spring was a huge breakthrough for Olivia both mentally and physically. She showed herself she was capable of much more than she had previously achievd on the track in all distances. Her endurance improved and gave her the added horsepower over 800m where she made a great run at a conference title. I'm very excited for her to enjoy the same breakthrough this fall but instead of success at different distances it becomes success on all courses we run. She's got great footspeed and a stride length that is hard to match at full run. I think she will surprise herself come the end of the season."
