Bio
Prior to Hartnell: Competed in two years of cross country at Salinas High School. Brings a 3 mile personal best of 22:05 to Hartnell. On the track, Veronica has great speed with personal best of 27.59 in the 200m and 61.67 over 400m. She was a CCS Trials qualifier in the 400 meters.
"I'm excited for Veronica to reap the aerobic benefits of cross country this fall. She's a tough girl who's pushed herself this summer to learn how to extend her endurance. Ultimately, we are looking to combine her great speed and newly found endurance and chase some fast 800m times this spring. She brings a great attitude toward work and fits in great with all our women."
