Freshman Year: Randy completed his first ever season of cross country last fall. He steadily improved his times over four miles and capped the season with his best 27:18 at the Coast Conference Championship.

Priot to Hartnell: Randy competed for the North Salinas High School Vikings all four years. He competed in the sprint and hurdle events.

"Randy returns for his fall campaign looking to make huge improvements. He really took to heart the recommendations for his off-season training and instead of being behind the group he is holding his own on aerobic run days. I expect Randy to be surprised by how much he's learned and then see him apply it to the championship race at the end for comparison."
