Bio

Prior to Hartnell: Mario competed for two years in cross country at King City High School. His senior season was cancelled due to the pandemic. As a junior, Mario finished second in the CCS Championship race and was the PCAL champion. As a sophomore in his first year of running, he finished sixth at the CCS Championship.

"Mario is a strong runner that will surely see success at the four mile distance. He is still developing the speed to win big races but his strength has put him very close to the front many times. Mario gives us our fifth King City Mustang. That team was one of the most successful in the county and we're hoping their chemisty continues at Hartnell."
