Bio
Prior to Hartnell: Carlos competed for two years in cross country at Soledad High School. A two-time CCS Championship qualifier, Carlos did not get his senior cross country season due to the pandemic. As a junior, Carlos placed sixthe at the PCAL Championship and nineteenth in his final CCS race.
"I'm really excited about Carlos. I've seen some things in his running that say he is one of the most undeveloped runners. We've talked about following the path another former Aztec, Andrew Martinez, followed while at Hartnell. Carlos has the tools to do some big things this fall and after a brief period lost to a quad injury he's starting to run more consistently. He may be one of the biggest movers at the conference championship come late October."
