CSUMB: Walked on to the CSUMB cross country team. Competed in one race.

Prior to Hartnell: Jesus competed his final two years at Alisal High School and graduated in 2019. Was a two time top 20 finisher in his league championship.

"Jesus contacted me just before the semester started thanks to having Jose and Joel on the team. He is very passionate about running and it appears he's really enjoying having the opportunity to compete again. My main objective is to keep him healthy and training week to week so he can progress quickly. Jesus has some good track PR's but that is flat ground so how he handles strength running will determine how this fall goes."
