This past week, the Hartnell College Lady Panthers, ranked #15 in Northern California in the State Polls, faced two strong opponents in a challenging crossover stretch.
On Wednesday, the Panthers hosted #6 San Francisco City College at home. Despite a hard-fought effort, Hartnell came up short, falling 57–85.
Mia Henson led all scorers with a dominant performance of 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Aveena Ducusin added 10 points in the loss.
On Friday, the Panthers traveled to College of San Mateo for their second crossover game of the week. With a shortened roster and multiple players battling injuries, Hartnell competed until the final minutes but dropped a close contest, 59–67.
Leading the way was Norma Tulua, posting a season-high 15 points, followed by Mia Henson with 14 points and Alana Hernandez with 13 points.
The Lady Panthers now stand at 11–9overall and will return home thisWednesday to host Gavilan College in the Panthers Den.
