Riding a three-match winning streak, Women's Volleyball traveled to Visalia to take on West Hills and College of Sequoias in the Sequoias Classic on Saturday Sept. 25.
The Panthers took down West Hills in four sets, 3-1 (25-11, 25-16, 24-26, 25-18). Aaaliyah Foster and Kanoe Kahana led the team on offense, with nine kills each. Lily Ramirez led with 16 assists, and Savannah Bulosan added 11. Jazmine Aguilera had a team-high nine digs.
In their second match, the team dropped three straight sets to Sequoias, 25-16, 25-23, 25-23. Foster led the Panthers with eight kills, and Karmyn Anderson contributed six. Ramirez led with 12 assists, and Bulosan added 10. Aguilera had a team-high 15 digs.
The Panthers (6-7) will hit the road to face Cabrillo 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 29. Their next home match will be Oct. 1, as they take on San Jose City at 6:30 p.m.
